Pixelloid Delivers VFX shots for Naayak
Hyderabad based Pixelloid studio has yet again delivered stunning vfx yet again this time for Telugu blockbuster ‘Naayak’. The studio has delivered 127 vfx shots for this action movie which was produced by Universal media.
50 artists were deployed to deliver vfx shots that involved techniques like chroma removal, matte paintings, compositing, rotoscopy and several cleanups. Studio used customized pipeline due to complexity of shots which was completed in 60 days. There were plenty of wire removals since the movie has lots of action sequences.
Pixelloid founder Yugandhar Tammareddy was Vfx Supervisor and were assisted by Tirumalla and Srinivas Inugurty, Naresh Yalla, Muneshwara Rao. Yugandhar Tammareddy is award winning Vfx supervisor and has 14 years of experience and has worked on over 100 films.
Naayak is directed by V.V Vinayak and has Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. Music was composed by S Thaman.
Entire Backgrounds in the movie was replaced with CGI backgrounds. Delivering vfx was challenging and it was a good chance to exploit our creativity , said Tammareddy
Water fall and Black rock sequences were most important sequences in the film. The actor were shot in interior set so they had to match the lighting of background which is a desert.
Pixelloid has trained thousands of individuals in the field of 3D animation and VFX and are placed in reputed studios located all over India. Currently Studio is working on Yevadu directed by Vamsi Paidipalli. Yevadu will be released on 11th March 2013.
