Load the scene in which you want to do a studio lighting setup. In light panel under a drop down menu select a vray light. Select a VRayLight and create a light and convert it into Dome.The default multiplier is 30. Set it to 1.
Now go to texture tab under VRayLight Parameters and select VrayHDRI and select your HDRI Map. Then drag and Drop into Material Editor.Browse and load the desired image.Once the image is loaded put it to Sperical environment.
Setup a Camera and do some render test.
Go to camera and select VRay Physical Camera, drag it on viewport and place it according to your requirement.
In render settings turn off anti aliasing feature. Under VRay Color Mapping, change the type to Exponential and increase the gamma level to 2.2.
Under Indirect Illumination , Turn on GI and set primary bounce to Irradiance map. Change Secondary bounce to Light cache.
