While starting your career in Animation industry or opting VFX compositor as your profession, it’s always important to know the market value of a Trainee and intern to get the best value of your talent. The salary range of animator or VFX compositor vary from studio to studio.
Studio normally visits the reputed institute to recruit fresher as an intern and if you know the market value then you can select the best institute for booming your future. The animation studio pays trainee and intern around 6000 – 8000.(In some cases you can get upto 10k depends on some project deadline).

Hi Animation Tutorial, I am so thankfull u have posted this .. I have recently finished my BFA from Academy of Art University in VFX and will apply for vfx compositor job. Please I really need to know , that whether these salaries are for fresher compositors and what can a guy with 2-3 experience can expect in terms of salary I mean how much salary can one expect after 3-4 years of experince in this field , becuase considering the amount of money I have spent on education , these salaries seems very low when compared to what people earn after doing professional courses like Btech and MCA ,MBA etc. Please calrify and reply soon

If you are a fresher, studio hire you as a trainee artist. They will make you work on certain project and they will see your work , your skills , attitude , How you work in a team and your temperament and ability to handle pressure. They will observe you for 3-6 months and if your work is good you will be given a permanent job along with the increment. The quality of work is very important in this field. I have few friends who started with mere 8000 pm salary and now earning well above 50,000 within a year…

if i am getting this correctly …you mean to say that within a years time they got salary raised above 50,000 from the starting 8000 ??? if yes may i knw which company do they work in ?
