3D Artist – Animation in Lakshya Digital

Reporting To:

Art Lead (off projects) / PM (on projects)

Functional Interaction:

Artists / Project Art Lead / Programmers / Project Managers

Job Description:

• Create and deliver high quality animation content for games of different genres
• Use sound animation techniques in nailing the required characteristics
• Interpret & adhere to the client guidelines and realize the work requirement
• Must be able to accept and follow direction, collaborate with others to meet deadlines

Skill Required:

• Strong understanding of fundamental animation principles.
• Equally proficient in Maya and 3DS MAX
• Good understanding of corresponding process in production pipeline i.e. modeling and rigging.
• knowledge of traditional animation
• Strong storytelling and acting skill is a plus
• Knowledge in implementation of animation into game engine is a great add on
• Must have an aptitude of quick learners
• Good problem-solving skills.

Qualification Required:

• BFA/MFA ( preferred but not mandatory)
• Animator with working knowledge of rigging is a big plus.
• Passionate gamer with experience playing a wide range of video games

Experience (in Years) Required:

• 1-3 years of professional experience as an animator in game development
